Ethereum developers achieved the introduction of privacy from end to end

Ethereum developers are trying to ensure that the second largest block chain is up to one of the fundamental principles of the cryptographic community: the privacy from extreme to extreme.

In a publication on Friday, the team of ‘Privacy and Scale Explorations’ of the Ethereum Foundation was renamed ‘Privacy Stewards of Ethereum’ (PSE). The team presented a road map to “privacy in Ethereum the norm instead of the exception.”

Why the privacy in Ethereum’s affairs

According to the PSE team, guaranteeing privacy in Ethereum is key to protecting users who trust the block chain. PSE’s team declared:

“Ethereum is on the way to becoming the settlement layer for the world, but without strong privacy, runs the risk of becoming the backbone of global surveillance instead of global freedom.”

Private reading, write and test

The PSE team will focus on three central areas: private readings, private deeds and private tests.

Private readings will allow users to read Ethereum without revealing their identities or intentions. In other words, privacy at the network level will ensure that there is no surveillance or leakage of metadata when users consult, navigate or are authenticated with Ethereum applications.

According to the umbrella of private readings, the team is working on call services of remote procedure for preservation of privacy (RPC). In general, RPCs can filter private data, such as IP addresses or what accounts the user are interested. Therefore, the PSE team has created a private RPC working group consisting of internal researchers and engineers, and external advisors.

The PSE team will also focus on making Ethereum writing privately and affordable. This means that sending private transfers, emitting a vote or interacting with applications will be easier.

For private writings, the team will continue working in Plasmafold, an experimental layer 2 that will add private transfer features.

Finally, the team will work to ensure that trying any data on Ethereum is private and accessible. The road map also includes objectives such as improving data portability and private identity for private tests.

While the team will focus on these areas in the predictable future, he added:
