Ripple Cto praises the XRP wallet for a quick reaction to the attack chain attack

David Schwartz, director of Technology at Ripple, has praised Xaman, a popular XRP wallet, for quickly reacting to a large -scale supply chain attack in the node packaging administrator ecosystem (NPM).

The NPM account of a good reputation developer was recently compromised, and Javascript ended up infected with malicious code.

Malware is specifically directed to cryptocurrency wallets as Metamask to redirect the funds of cryptographic users not initiated to attackers by secret exchange.

As reported by U.TODAY, the Ledger CTO Charles Guillemet has urged cryptography users who do not have hardware wallets with a clear signature to temporarily stop transactions in the chain.

Xaman reaction

The team behind the wallet Xaman immediately made an audit, which showed that it was safe for users.

The XRPL Labs co -founder, Wietse Wind Supply has indicated that chain attacks are becoming “more and more common.”
